Just like that we’re already on our third weekly roundup to help showcase what’s coming up this week in the creative and tech sector. From events, webinars, business support and courses all direct to your screen at home. At times of uncertainty and worry – there has been a huge uplift across every sector to come together and support each other, which is why we want to showcase them all in one place for you.


Pro-Manchester

This Tuesday 12th May, 10-11am Manchester Digital are hosting a free Q&A session, answering your burning questions about The Future Fund, the Bounce Back scheme and other grants and funding opportunities for start-ups, scale ups and small businesses.

Barclays Eagle Labs

Barclays are continuing with providing a series of webinars this week and ongoing during lockdown, focusing around providing information on the COVID-19 pandemic and how business can become resilient during this time, finance relief for businesses as well as mindfulness sessions and training courses to help you learn something new.

We also wanted to highlight their Business Resilience through Coronavirus webinar being hosted this Tuesday 12th May, 3-3.30pm and Wednesday 13th May, 10-10.30am. Where Barclays will be looking at the decisions that businesses could be faced with and what support is in place for you. Events are all free and listed on their Eventbrite page.


Digital Lancashire

Join them Wednesday 13th May, 3-4pm for a webinar with a whole bunch of information around COVID-19 and what funding is available to digital and tech businesses and how you can access it. You can register here.


ScreenSkills

Take part in online events, training and e-learning with ScreenSkills this week. Have your lunch with commissioners and hear from industry professionals on a range of subjects. All events are free and listed on their website. Be quick though as the tickets go very quick!

The Skills Toolkit

Digital and numeracy courses to build your skills whilst being at home. Digital and numeracy skills are amongst those that are most sought after by employers and can help you progress in work and boost your job prospects. Digital skills can be anything from using social media and staying safe online to coding, programming or digital marketing. All courses are free and more information can be found via their website.
